CURRENCY COLLECTIONS

CSQ Mall is constantly building our product range to ensure a constant portfolio of cutting edge and unique collector sets. Currencies currently available are as follows:


New Iraqi Dinar

In 2003, new banknotes were issued consisting of six denominations: 50, 250, 1000, 5000, 10,000, and 25,000 dinar. The notes were similar in design to notes issued by the Central Bank of Iraq in the 1970s and 1980s. A 500 dinars note was issued a year later, in October 2004.


Vietnamese Dong

In Vietnamese, đồng literally means copper. This originates from the practice of minting coins from copper before French colonization. When Vietnam was part of French Indochina, the standard unit of currency was the French Indochinese piastre. The Vietnamese text on these currencies called it the đồng or, less commonly, the bạc ("silver").

Trading Currency

Speculation, in the narrow sense of financial speculation, involves the buying, holding, selling, and short-selling of currencies. Some currencies garner wide spread optimism on its performance and ability for capital appreciation. Chinese Renminbi

The renminbi literally meaning "people's currency", is the official currency in the mainland of the People's Republic of China (PRC). whose principal unit is the yuan. It is issued by the People's Bank of China, the monetary authority of the PRC. The official ISO 4217 abbreviation is CNY, although also commonly abbreviated as "RMB". The Latinised symbol is ¥.

Latin America Series 1

A complete collection of all $1 denomination notes from all the Latin American countries.Countries involved are in the likes of Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Mexico, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Venezuela and Uruguay.



Worldwide Polymer Series 1

Polymer banknotes were developed by the Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) and the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) and were first issued as currency in Australia in 1988.



Countries with notes printed on Guardian polymer in circulation include: Australia, Bangladesh, Brazil, Brunei, Chile, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, Nepal, New Zealand, Northern Ireland, Papua New Guinea, Romania, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam, Western Samoa and Zambia.

Countries that have issued commemorative banknotes (which are not in circulation) on Guardian polymer include: The People's Republic of China, The Republic of China (Taiwan), Kuwait, Northern Ireland, Singapore, and the Solomon Islands.
